How you can come to know our wonderful
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Right
now, wherever you are you can talk to God, he is always listening. Always
remember that God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life. That is true
for all of us. The problem is that in this sinful world, we are separated from
God by our own sin. God solved that problem by coming to earth in the
person of Jesus Christ. He lived a sinless life and died on the cross to take
our punishment. When Jesus died on the cross, God the father transferred
all the sins that you have or ever will commit to him, right then and there.
All you have to do is to agree with him about that. You simply pray,
"Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, and that you died for me. Come into my
heart and save me and forgive me for all my sin, I give you everything".
Say it to God and say it out loud. Right now.
If you said that prayer, what you did was to trust Jesus to save you. You asked
for forgiveness and the bible says that any one who comes to him, he will not
cast out. You have probably heard John 3:16, "For God so loved the
world, that He gave his only beloved son, that whosoever believes in him, should
not perish but have everlasting life."
Remember, being saved is not YOUR work but GOD's. You cannot do it, only
HE can.
Ok, to summarize:
1. Pray to God out loud
2. Admit you have sinned
3. Believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sin
4. Ask him to come into your heart and forgive you and save you.
5. Give him everything, right now.
